Standby Power Board - 1 Master, 1 Slave - PT9777 by Jackson Industries
Jackson Industries is a wholly Australian-owned company
Operation of this power board is straight forward; simply plug your main appliance (such as a computer or television) into the “master socket”, and plug your other appliance (such as scanner, modem, DVD player, amplifier etc) into the "slave socket". When power to the master appliance is turned off or on (manually or by remote control), the “slave” appliance is simultaneously turned off or on automatically. When the appliances are off, there is absolutely no standby power being consumed. How does it work? A sophisticated sensor circuit within the powerboard detects the level of current passing through the main "master" socket and switches the "slave" socket to the same status, off or on.
NB You are able to plug your own 'standard' power board into this product's slave socket, thereby expanding the number of slave sockets & appliances to a greater number, up to a maximum power draw of 2400W. Every product thus plugged into the standard power board in the slave socket will turn on or off when the 1 master appliance is turned on or off
WARNING: LASER PRINTERS SHOULD NOT BE CONNECTED TO THE SLAVE OR MASTER SOCKET OF THIS POWERBOARD. Connection of laser printers to those sockets of this powerboard may cause damage to the printer and/or the powerboard
