Product Description

Floodlight - CFL - Energy Saving - PAR38 - E27 Edison Screw Base - 23 Watt - Cool White - by CLA, Compact Lamps Australia

The typical floodlight found outdoors in many homes and businesses, or in stage lighting is a very expensive light to operate - it uses an incredible amount of electricity

New technology involving a fluorescent rather than incandescent light source produces excellent, equivalent light at a fraction the cost. This CFL floodlight is the latest, energy saving technology

Please note for use with sensor lights: This product CAN be used in a sensor situation, but only if  a) the illumination time of that sensor light can be manually adjusted, and  b) the illumination time is set to be at least 10 minutes. Reason being, constant short time illumination of this CFL floodlight could lead to a more rapid deterioration (than usual) of the fluorescent gases within, thus limiting this product's lifespan

  1. CFL floodlight par38

Posted by Friendy on 13th Sep 2011

Nice strong light once it has warmed up, which is always the issue with these types of lights. However, there is enough light to see, in the 1-2 minutes it takes to get to full strength.

This light gives off the bluish 'cool white' rather than the usual yellowish 'warm white' of the traditional Par38 globe

Pretty good power savings over a 150w Par38
